Penguin Random House
Penguin Random House is one of the leading publishing houses in Spain, Portugal, Latin America and the United States. It currently consists of 27 publishing houses with noteworthy titles such as George Orwell’s 1984 and the literary phenomenon Fifty Shades of Grey.
We started giving support to Penguin Random House as a digital agency by defining advertising campaigns for the launch of new titles, and soon became the technology provider and digital strategy adviser for the publishing house’s main prints, managing to strategically position their presence in the digital environment and establish a community which is passionate about its imprints and catalogues.
Penguin Random House has entrusted us with the digital strategies for launching new titles of their star authors, such as Ken Follett, Albert Espinosa, Julia Navarro, Ildefonso Falcones, Patrick Rothfuss and the publishing phenomenon of the year: Fifty Shades of Grey. We handle the conceptualisation and execution of the global digital strategy for the publisher’s no. 1 bestseller, with the creation of a website, campaign landing pages, forums, blogging management, community management, influencer campaigns, content creation, Social Media competitions, advertising campaigns on Google, and Facebook, Twitter and YouTube ads.
As well as developing the global strategy for the launch of the science fiction brand Fantascy, we have been in charge of the conceptualisation, creation and launch of Random House Mondadori’s first online vertical: Fantifica, establishing the leading online portal for the fantasy and science fiction genre, bringing together the fan community with the genre and creating conversation, giving visibility to the catalogue and publisher’s brand, as well as increasing the sale of its products.
We have contributed our strategic and technological expertise in the development of digital platforms in analytics and defining digital strategy, and in positioning on Social Media the Fantascy brand and Fantifica vertical.
