About the Lean Product Discovery training

The success of any company lies in creating products or services that generate true value for its customers. How to generate that value?

In recent years, many companies are shaping their innovation with proprietary products capable of transforming their operations and even their business models. To do this, they are providing product structure to their organizations, whose goal is to tackle the challenge of making desirable, feasible, and viable products. Based on the Lean UX methodology, we will explore strategies to maximize success.

In this practical and dynamic course, you will learn to transform your agile practices to:

  • Ideate products and solutions centered on the customer
  • Manage the risk when creating these solutions
  • Align your team with a mission and objectives that are clear
  • Empower your team as product owners: everyone contributes expertise

Through a mix of talks, materials, and real-time group work, you will gain practical knowledge and actionable strategies to drive innovation and deliver value to your customers.

A unique opportunity to learn from original materials and methodologies by the renowned pioneers of Lean UX, Jeff Gothelf and Josh Seiden, taught in Spanish by Laura Polls and Carlos Iglesias.

What you will take away:

  • A collaborative framework and cross-functional that guides the Discovery and helps to learn
  • A method for rapid validation of hypotheses
  • A mindset for transformation to a product culture
  • Techniques for alignment between business and team to create desirable, feasible, and viable products
  • Product creation based on evidence
  • Proper risk management
  • All the videos and presentations used during the class.
  • Access to all the templates, examples and guides used during the course.
  • A certificate of participation in the course.

Sense & Respond Learning offers training in product management, design, innovation, and transformation to many of the world's largest companies. Founded in 2017 by Jeff Gothelf and Joshua Seiden, it helps companies become more collaborative, more strategic, more agile, more customer-focused, and ultimately more successful.

Jeff and Josh have been training Product teams for decades since 2011. Shortly after, one of the largest digital payment companies in the world hired them to train their global teams. To do this, Jeff and Josh traveled the world over the course of two years, developing, delivering, and iterating their training materials. That experience of building and delivering curriculum together laid the foundation for their first book, Lean UX, and for the training business of Sense & Respond Learning.

Frequently Asked Questions

In the online version, how many hours should I invest per week?

Each of the four weeks of the course, we will have a live online session of two hours, for which you will need to watch the content that you will find on a platform where we will register you.

These contents are recorded lessons by Jeff and Josh, where they explain key concepts (with plenty of examples) that we will then put into practice in class.

So, estimate that you will need to dedicate a maximum of a couple of extra hours to the self-study content, plus the two synchronous hours in the online class with your coaches and the rest of the participants.

In the online version, what is flipped classroom?

The flipped classroom methodology proposes changing the way you learn: instead of receiving the explanation in class and doing exercises at home, you first explore the content on your own (it could be watching a video, reading, or using another tool) and then, in class, you use that time to practice in teams, resolve doubts, and apply what you have already seen.

This way, you make much more of the time with your coaches and the rest of the participants, to understand everything in depth and more actively.

In the in-company version, can you adapt the training to our real context?

Absolutely yes.

Precisely the best thing about in-company trainings is that they allow us to work on your real problems and specific challenges.

Think that, besides being trainers, we are practitioners with a consultative nature that we not only want to maintain but precisely our value lies in real experience creating products for different sectors and contexts.

What usually happens in in-company contexts is quite magical ✨ Ideas appear where there were blocks and clarity where there was uncertainty.

In the in-company version, how many people can I include in the training?

As a general rule, we like to keep classes below 30 participants per cohort.

That said, the answer will depend on:

  • If you want to do it online or in-person at your offices.
  • If you want to work with existing real teams or mix people into teams configured expressly.
  • The challenges and objectives of the program.

So the best thing is to contact us so we can make you the best proposal. Complete the form below and we will respond as soon as possible.
