AI adoption lies with people

Tools arrive quickly. An organization's ability to leverage them depends on something else: how its people learn. How they are onboarded, how they are trained, how they share what they know, and what remains when someone leaves.

This Talent Open Space focuses on that. On talent development, on in-house training, and on the knowledge that circulates through the organization while AI changes the way we work.

There are two recurring themes when we talk to People leaders. They are what encouraged us to organize this Open Space to open up conversations. The day's agenda is decided among all attendees.

Training, onboarding, and talent development

Training programs age before they are fully deployed. Onboardings continue to explain a way of working that is already transforming. And much of the AI training remains focused on the tool, far from the criteria.

Some questions on the table: what do we train, the tool or the criteria? How do you design a program when work changes every quarter? How do you measure that AI training has been effective? What role does in-company training play in real adoption?

Knowledge management in the AI era

Chats, documents, recorded meetings, and decisions that only live in the minds of three people. The organization generates an enormous amount of knowledge that is almost never structured or transmitted.

More open questions: what knowledge deserves to be structured? Who keeps it alive? What happens to what leaves when a person leaves? What does AI need underneath to turn all that into useful memory?

What is an Open Space?

An Open Space is a participatory and self-organized meeting, without a pre-set agenda and without speakers.

Attendees propose topics at the beginning of the day, the agenda is built live, and everyone chooses which conversations to participate in. The intention is for group knowledge to emerge.

There is only one rule: if you are not learning or contributing, change sessions! (no one will be offended)
